TOMORROW school students will receive hands-on immersion into the construction industry at the annual AGC Heavy Equipment Rodeo & CIEF Trades Day Event! AGC New Mexico and the Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) are thrilled to host this event on October 4th at Expo New Mexico. With 1,300 students from 28 high schools participating, it’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with local construction professionals! As Eddie C. In collaboration with AGC New Mexico, QPR is hosting two Gatekeeper trainings on September 27th and October 2nd! These trainings will be focused on decreasing suicide in the construction industry; however, anyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. These QPR Gatekeeper trainings are free to participants, but spots are limited. Yesterday was truly remarkable! A heartfelt thank you to U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson for his inspiring keynote at this year's National & Chapter Leadership Conference. Our Capitol Hill visits were successful, we highlighted the outstanding work of our member companies and chapter. We also addressed important issues like workforce funding, heat standards, and more. We were excited to receive a personal invitation to Congresswoman Stansbury's press conference, where she discussed legislation aimed at disrupting global criminal drug networks.
