We are highlighting our seafood program here at AWG. When it comes to seafood, AWG offers a wide variety in both fresh and frozen varieties. AWG’s programs are dynamically designed to meet the needs of full-service departments or case-ready self-service cases. AWG’s meat merchandising team will be offering seafood promotions throughout the rest of the year, including several strategic sales that showcase popular seafood items at great prices. Led by Crystal Gonzales, Director of Hispanic & International Sales, this team serves the growing Hispanic population in our member retailers’ markets. By having a dedicated and centralized team, AWG can cater to the needs of its members and their customers, offering the right items at the right cost and strategy to increase the number of products sold. AWG offers a full assortment of more than 3,000 Hispanic products across dry grocery, dairy, frozen, meat, general merchandise and health, beauty, and wellness to serve retailers. With a continual review of new products and vendors, plus SKU optimization by AWG division support center, the Hispanic program assists our retailers in competing amongst the most competitive items and markets served.
