📢 We’re Hiring: Housing Coordinator at Houston Christian University! 📢 Houston Christian University is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housing Coordinator to join our Residence Life team. If you’re passionate about supporting students in a dynamic campus environment and have experience in housing management, this role could be the perfect fit for you! Position Summary: The Housing Coordinator will oversee the housing application process, manage room assignments, and maintain our student housing database (Symplicity) to ensure seamless housing operations. This role also ensures our students' living spaces meet HCU's high standards, overseeing cleanliness, readiness, and maintenance of student rooms and common areas. The Housing Coordinator will also collaborate closely with Student Accounts to ensure accurate billing and address housing inquiries, helping create an exceptional residential experience for our students. Key Responsibilities: Manage student housing applications, room assignments, and room selection processes. Oversee the student housing database to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality. Conduct regular audits of housing information, ensuring accurate student charges. Maintain housing resources and furnishings, including access control and room inspections. Serve as the primary contact for housing-related technology inquiries, troubleshooting with our housing software. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree and/or collegiate residential experience preferred. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Ability to analyze data to improve housing processes and student satisfaction. Active Christian faith and commitment to supporting HCU’s Ten Pillars vision.
