Astor Services’ Hudson Valley Day Treatment staff came together on March 14 to support the Sparrow's Nest Charity by participating in Dress Down Day. The Sparrow’s Nest is a local non-profit organization that cooks and delivers meals to families and individuals going through cancer treatment. The Sparrow’s Nest provides fresh, ready-to-eat meals ensuring that individuals undergoing treatment receive the nourishment they need. We are happy to support this worthy cause!

In honor of World Social Work Day, we would like to introduce Katie, Enhanced Coordinated Children's Services Initiative Coordinator. Katie has been a dedicated and committed employee with Astor for nearly 30 years.  Throughout her journey with Astor Katie has been a leader through various initiatives at the agency, county, and state levels. Katie's commitment to her partnership with children and families is consistently highlighted by dedication, advocacy and family driven care. Her teamwork, experience and knowledge are held in high regard by colleagues. We are proud to have Katie as part of our Astor family. Thank you, Katie, for all that you do!

In honor of World Social Work Day, we would like to introduce Lanika, Astor’s Program Director of our Bronx Care Management Program, who has been a dedicated and committed employee for more than 20 years. Lanika has been an active leader in many programs, committees and initiatives and consistently seeks out ways to improve program and workforce initiatives.  We are proud to have her as part of our Astor family.
