"The path will unfold once you start walking..." In essence this is to me what a real learning journey is all about. So I am really excited, despite all obstacles and time constraints to being able to travel to the US again after five years. I will explore the EDUCAUSE conference for the first time and even more, I feel privileged being able to visit beforehand some of the most inspiring Universities University of California, Berkeley, Stanford University and Arizona State University. And guess what seems to be in the core of my interest? Unsurprisingly, the pathways connected to GenAI-trends and developments are calling my attention for the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung (Forum for Higher Education in the Digital Age) and the Stifterverband. I see this as a disruptive power for HE & learning which is unprecedented. And I want to explore more about the scope, ambitions and unfolding pathways of HEI full of showcases, experimentation, new practices and learning insights. Thus, I am looking forward to (re-) connecting with really inspiring colleagues and hit me up if you happen to be at Educause this year.
