Chicago-based real estate company Waterton acquired 903 Peachtree, a 32-story apartment tower in Midtown, for an undisclosed amount. Fulton County assessed the property, which opened in 2022, at $189.1 million for the 2024 tax year. Coldwell Banker Realty‘s district manager for Atlanta, Sherry Noles, was promoted to regional vice president for Atlanta. She served as managing broker for Coldwell Banker’s Marietta/Cobb and Douglasville offices before her role as district manager. Keller Williams Realty, Inc. has expanded in Central America with its international division, Keller Williams Worldwide (KWW), awarding its first master franchise in Guatemala. Led by regional operating principal (ROP) Rodrigo Garcia, the franchise is currently initializing operations. The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate climbed to 6.44% this week, Freddie Mac reported. Rates dipped to their lowest level in two years at the end of September, hitting 6.08% in the wake of the Federal Reserve Board’s 0.5% rate cut. Mortgage rates are not directly tied to the Fed rates and often fluctuate based on expectations within the market. Single-family housing starts rose for the second month in a row in September, the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development said. New single-family homes were started at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,027,000, up 2.7% from 1 million in August and up 5.5% from 973,000 in September 2023. #AtlantaRealtors #Atlantarealestate
