We commend Senator Tammy Duckworth and her colleagues for their leadership in launching the bipartisan Senate Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Caucus. We are confident that this initiative will play a pivotal role in advancing the transition of the aviation industry toward a more sustainable future. Policymakers’ continued commitment to SAF—along with the pioneering efforts in states like Illinois to introduce SAF purchase credits—will not only accelerate innovation but also drive economic growth. By supporting the development of a domestic SAF market, the U.S. is positioned to lead the world in cutting-edge clean energy solutions, while also ensuring the long-term competitiveness of the aviation sector and strengthening sustainability efforts for decades to come. SAF can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to traditional jet fuel, making it one of the most critical tools in reaching the industry’s ambitious goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Expanding the domestic SAF market will also bolster national energy security and promote thousands of green jobs across the country. SAF production has risen significantly in the past few years but in order to reach the U.S.’ goal of 3 billion gallons by 2030, the industry will depend on the support of policymakers like the members of the SAF Caucus. Atlas is proud to support these efforts and remains committed to pioneering innovative solutions as we work toward a more sustainable future for global aviation.

We are grinning from ear to ear to see this father/daughter duo reach new heights together! Eric Blanco, an engineering manager at Boeing, proudly handed over the keys to a Boeing 777 Freighter to his daughter, Sylvia Blanco—an Atlas Air First Officer—marking her very first Boeing Delivery flight. “Over the years my dad has consistently encouraged me. To get the key from him was certainly a special moment in both of our careers.” We can't wait to see where FO Blanco's Atlas Air career will take her next! This month, we commemorate 20 years of partnership with Qantas Freight, the leading air freight carrier in Australia. This milestone anniversary deserves a milestone celebration! In recognition of our long-standing partnership and shared dedication to sustainability, we are proud to contribute to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. This donation builds upon Qantas’ commitment to coral restoration and enables us to plant coral for every single Atlas employee, symbolizing an enduring partnership. Here's to many more years of innovation, sustainability, and success!
