Safety is a fundamental core value at Atlas Crane. For this reason, we are proud to share that we were awarded a Project Safety Award by the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) for safely erecting the GSG Wind Farm with no incidents or injuries. Many thanks to all the Atlas Crane employees that contributed to this successful project and to The Boldt Company for trusting us with this new construction opportunity! #safety #teamatlas #windenergy #cranes #teamwork

Atlas Crane joins more than 3200 companies in the US in participating in OSHA’s Safe and Sound Week 2024. Our people are our most important asset. Our accomplishments and growth are tied directly to their efforts and commitment to safety and customer service. Our CEO, Charles Kent, and Vice President of Human Resources and Safety, Brent Fink, recently shared their insights on what ‘Safe and Sound’ means to Atlas as well as the criticality of JHA’s in pre-job safety planning. We encourage everyone to take time during Safe and Sound Week 2024 to celebrate successes in safety and look for ways to strengthen safety related programs and initiatives. Additional resources and information about Safe and Sound Week 2024 can be found at www.osha.gov.

Atlas Crane Appoints Industry Leader Charles Kent as Chief Executive Officer Today Atlas Crane Service LLC (“Atlas”), a leading national crane, rigging, and heavy haul provider, announced the appointment of Charles Kent as its new Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”). Since 2022, Mr. Kent has served as Atlas’ Chief Operating Officer (“COO”). Atlas’ founder and previous CEO, Zachary Prentis, will continue with Atlas as a member of its Board of Directors.  In conjunction with Ares Management Infrastructure Opportunities fund’s investment in August 2022, Atlas has continued to expand its geographic footprint and has grown its operating fleet by 20 new cranes, all while remaining focused on safely providing critical services and solutions to its customers. Over that time, Mr. Kent has partnered with Mr. Prentis and Ares to shape and guide the implementation of Atlas’ growth strategy. Mr. Kent will continue executing Atlas’ national expansion initiatives in both the renewable energy and traditional crane sectors.  “In working with Charles, I have had the privilege of witnessing his deep knowledge and passion for our industry, in addition to his focus on a culture of operational excellence,” said Mr. Prentis. “Whether it be an immediate need in the Chicago market, or a long-term project out-of-state, I am confident Atlas will be well-served by Charles’ strong leadership and capitalize on the significant opportunities ahead. I am excited to continue supporting Charles and Atlas as a member of the Board.”  Similarly, Mr. Kent noted that he is “honored to lead Atlas” and that he is “looking forward to further developing relationships with our clients and exceptional team members as we continue to support renewable energy generation across the United States.” Mr. Kent continued that “with Atlas’ differentiated offerings and commitment to high-quality client service, I strongly believe we are well-positioned for long-term growth and success.” Mr. Kent holds an economics degree from Occidental College and has spent over 20 years in executive and sales roles at other national crane providers.
