Augusta High School's slate of traditional tech ed classes - woods, metals - was missing something. After spending time with local industry and their regional technical college, the district recognized the need to add more high-tech courses to their program. Enter Industry 4.0 Fundamentals, where students now take 4 classes in mechatronics, industrial controls, industrial robotics and IIoT. So proud to have just wrapped up installing the first-ever Amatrol Enterprise Learning System featuring FANUC America Corporation CRX cobots at Kellogg Community College's Eastern Academic Center in Albion, MI! The Motor City is pioneering EV manufacturing training! Educators and industrial employers from across the U.S. joined a meeting at the Detroit Regional Chamber today to learn about 5 new Amatrol EV manufacturing courses, aligned to the new SACA - Smart Automation Certification Alliance credentials around these technologies. These courses are being developed in partnership with MichAuto to align with the workforce needs of our automakers - and what better place for this development than Detroit!
