Meet Serges. As a small business owner based in #AmarilloTX, he felt the impact of the #DigitalDivide firsthand. Prior to our intervention, he faced limited access to fast and reliable internet, which significantly impacted his business. In our new documentary, 'Route to Connection,' we share the compelling stories of 3 people, shedding light on the disparities in access to technology, information, and opportunities that continue to affect communities across the U.S. Watch the full documentary at att.com/routetoconnection. #ATT #CommunityImpact

Change can be intimidating, but can also be exciting. Project Management Intern, Weatland told us about the possibilities he’s most excited about as a result of change: “Hello #LifeAtATT! My name is Weatland Johnson, a rising junior attending Emory University. I’m currently majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing because I admire how the field is forever evolving to match consumers. Although change is often feared due to the uncertainty it involves, I like to approach it with a glass-half full mentality. Change opens us up to new possibilities and strategies that haven’t been thought of previously. One of the most recent changes in my life has been relocating to Dallas to pursue the AT&T EDGE Internship. I am currently working in sales as a Project Management Intern within the Global Business Acquisition team. I chose AT&T because of how they introduce students to the corporate world of connectivity while supporting their individual development. My favorite thing that I have done so far has been assisting customer outreach on the sale of Dedicated Internet. It feels good to have an actual impact on the accounts we bring onto the team. I’m most looking forward to learning valuable sales skills in addition to networking within the company.”

Last week, members of our Technology Development Program in New Jersey enjoyed a networking event with senior leadership. One of the highlights was a chat with CEO, John Stankey moderated by TDP Network Engineer Rachel Eng. The day was a great opportunity to build connections and celebrate the work being done by the young professionals who will lead future innovations at AT&T. We’re continuing to get to know our summer interns. This week, we connected with Adriana to learn a bit about why she wanted to join our Supply Chain team and what she’s most looking forward to learning: “Hi, #LifeAtATT! My name is Adriana Rincon, and I'm a senior at Boston University studying Computer Science. I'm an intern with the Wireline Transformation & Supply Chain department, working as a Technology Enablement & Automation intern. I chose AT&T because it allowed me to expand my interest in supply chain while still being involved with the technology. My favorite thing so far has been working with my team for the Intern Summer Case Competition. It has been a great way to learn more about Supply Chain within AT&T and fun to work with my intern team. I also enjoyed going to the AT&T Stadium Tour with the rest of the interns. I'm most looking forward to learning more about the supply chain industry and how that intersects with technology. There is also an upcoming baseball game that I’m very excited to attend. So far, I have really enjoyed my time here at AT&T and can’t wait to see what the future holds!”
