The ATTOM fourth-quarter 2024 Vacant Property and Zombie Foreclosure Report reveals that 215,601 residential properties in the U.S. are in the process of foreclosure in the fourth quarter of this year. About 7,100 pre-foreclosure properties were vacant as zombie foreclosures in Q4 2024, a slight increase from the prior quarter but down 20.2% from a year ago.
