Great read, Tim Suchanek! We agree that #WebAssembly will eventually displace #Docker for containerization, especially on resource-constrained hardware. Atym's open-source device runtime is based on the new Ocre project in The Linux Foundation that we recently seeded. Ocre leverages WebAssembly and The Zephyr Project to enable Docker-like containers in a base footprint of just 256KB memory... that's ~1000X lighter than what's typically needed for Docker on Linux!
