As we move closer to our launch date, we're really excited to be able to share a little bit more about this special project we've been working on.🤩 Sitting down with Sara Merriman, I shared some of the difficulties that the aerospace industry faces, particularly in the MRO ( Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul ) side of the industry. Not only is the industry having a huge impact on the environment with the majority of engineers still having to use print outs of instructions and charts to carry out their day to day work but this also causes major inefficiencies as engineers lose about 50% of their time printing and running back and forth between their stations and printers. By working with some of the best minds in the industry - Wendy Hall Ibrahim Sari Haiming Liu Prof Bob Stone, we are developing a product that combines AI ( Artificial Intelligence ) and VR ( Virtual Reality ) that will not only reduce inefficiencies within the MRO industry but it will also reduce safety risks and reduce time pressures. It's been an incredibly exciting, difficult and rewarding process so far and we wouldn't have got to where we are without the help and guidance of many, Marla Shapiro my mentor from the UK Space Agency FUSION Programme being an absolute queen deserving a special mention!
