Our team was tasked with building the campaign from the ground-up, spanning everything from the initial concept to campaign branding to a complete video series. The California Travel Association announced that the North Tahoe Community Alliance received its 2024 Sustainability and Stewardship Award. The award recognizes a CalTravel member individual or organization that has successfully implemented sustainability and stewardship practices that enhance environmental health, manage visitor impacts, and improve the well-being of residents in their communities. The NTCA was honored for its shift in focus from previously serving as a Destination Marketing Organization to becoming a Destination Management Organization focused on reinvesting tourism revenue into tangible solutions to benefit the natural environment and the community. #tottbiddollarsatwork https://lnkd.in/g43UYkKZ

When U.S. Travel's #IPW took place in Los Angeles earlier this year, our PR team jumped on the opportunity to invite international journalists to experience Discover Torrance first-hand. As part of a pre-IPW FAM arranged through Augustine's PR team, Kim Pemberton shared her unbelievable, but true experience in Torrance via the Times Colonist, the oldest daily newspaper in Western Canada. 2. Did you know that this September is the 20th anniversary of California Wine Month? With more than 55 wine-tasting rooms in walking distance, it's no wonder Downtown Napa is the perfect destination to celebrate. Whether looking to enjoy brand new wine-tasting rooms, like Robert Mondavi's Arch & Tower or switching it up and enjoying some sparkling wine at Be Bubbly, there's something for each type of wine lover in Downtown Napa. 3. There's a lot that's been done throughout North Lake Tahoe Convention & Visitors Bureau in terms of sustainability and stewardship, and our team takes pride in the opportunity to work and educate visitors about the importance of responsible travel. In her Wherever Family article, Eugenia Lazaris highlights the various initiatives being done throughout North Lake Tahoe, touching on how we can teach the younger generations to make a clear difference. 4. California is a perfect destination for hikes of all levels. Specifically in Siskiyou's towns of Dunsmuir and Mount Shasta, travelers can enjoy gorgeous views, waterfalls and historic landmarks. The Travel's roundup highlights key spots for travelers, including Castle Crags State Park, Hedge Creek Falls, McCloud Falls and more. 5. This summer, the Harriet Tubman: The Journey to Freedom sculpture by Wofford Sculpture Studio arrived in Texas for the first time after traveling around the country since 2020. Our PR team worked closely with our team at Visit Bastrop to showcase this influential sculpture as part of the city’s Juneteenth Freedom Celebration. As a result, the team received tons of local and regional media pickup sharing the news of the sculpture's arrival in Bastrop.
