Aultman Deuble Heart and Vascular Hospital (ADHVH) hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new Mobile Heart Care Unit on Monday, Oct. 21, at Aultman Hospital in Canton. The ADHVH team is excited to announce that the new unit will provide pre-scheduled outpatient cardiovascular services including clinic visits with a cardiac provider and EKGs, with plans to offer echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds in the future. Beginning Oct. 29, the ADHVH Mobile Heart Care Unit will start seeing patients in Brewster and Waynesburg, with plans to increase their service area to include Canal Fulton and Strasburg in the near future. Dr. Eric Olyejar, medical director of the Aultman Cancer Center and radiation oncologist, is Aultman’s Men Wear Pink ambassador this year! In addition to his efforts to raise funds for the initiative, Dr. Olyejar will wear pink every day in October to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
