Austin Tech Week is starting off with a bang! A big theme today was the power of community. And these women are my community 💜 Not only am I energized from these panels but these panels consist of some of my best friends? 👯♀️ Is this real life? Austin Women in Technology (AWT) - forever proud to represent this organization and love seeing the impact you’ve had on the Austin community. This isn’t my first #AustinTechWeek but was my most aligned time! I have already gained helpful insight for Switchboard, collaborated around What She Said Inc and learned tips to share with Jess Storiale ✨Career Clarity Coach✨ and her cohort. I’m energized! If you don’t have community in Austin, whether you’re in tech or not, I encourage you to create some space for an event or two this week!

It was a wonderful first day at #AustinTechWeek today The morning started with a great session organize by Austin Women in Technology (AWT). I attended 2 of their sessions: 🏆 I listen to Natalie Poindexter, MPH, CHES and Shannan Hale talking about Solopreneur and consulting. They gave great advice on how to find your sweet spot and how to price yourself the way you deserve 💲 And then Anastasia Bourgeois, MBA, CPA, CFE, CVA, CMAA, MAFF bourgeois and Melissa (Wagner) Darveau, MBA talked about how to sell and finance your business. ❤️ I had the immense joy to listen to my friend Gretel Perera who talked about her journey building wonderful Latinas communities. This was captivating and so inspiring. She was then joined by Rosandra Silveira. They talked about the power of the community, networking and most importantly to build true relationships who will naturally support you in your journey. But first you need to listen to your voice and understand who you are and what you want! 🤠 This idea was also reinforced by Elizabeth Eichhorn during a panel moderated by @jasmin brand, founder of Her Texas. All day I met great people: entrepreneurs, people looking for their next opportunity.. so much energy!

It was an honor to share the stage today with Rosandra Silveira at Austin Tech Week. Together, we shared the power of community and the importance of creating meaningful connections to advance your career. Some key takeaways from our session include: ✅ Find and connect with your people. ✅ Create meaningful and long-lasting connections. ✅ Don't underestimate the power of storytelling. Grateful for the opportunity to speak at Austin Tech Week with Austin Women in Technology (AWT)! I had such a wonderful at the Austin Women in Technology (AWT) event last night. The speakers were amazing and the view from the Texas Banker's Association building was incredible!
