Many HR teams in the U.S. are overworked and stretched thin – confronting high turnover internally while demands on their department continue to grow. 92% rank the amount of work piled on their plates as their biggest barrier to success in 2024. The benefits of HR outsourcing are compelling, providing the people, processes, and technology to drive efficiency, bridge talent gaps, and alleviate the burden on internal teams so they can focus on more strategic tasks. Latin America has moved from a regional outsourcing location to a global hub, with 93% of its #GBS and #SSC locations supporting North America, 64% supporting Europe, and 38% supporting Asia. That’s a key takeaway from the recent webinar hosted by the Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON): Shared Services Future Locations: Spotlight on North America, Latin America and Caribbean. SSON Research & Analytics leaders Tom Olavi Bangemann and Barbara Hodge took 300+ registrants through an in-depth look at the LATAM market – comparing global perception to the realities of its talent, digital capabilities, processes being supported, and growth. Data stemmed from SSON research – including a joint Latin America Market Survey compiled with Auxis that will be available later this month. More insights: - LATAM GBS and SSCs are performing the same processes as the global GBS and SSC market but on a greater scale – signaling functional satisfaction that drives increasing scope. - While reduced costs rank as an important factor for considering LATAM, more companies ranked expanded access to talent and a continuous improvement and innovation mindset as the “most important” reasons – speaking to the quality of its digital capabilities, service levels, and talent. - Colombia, Mexico, and Costa Rica stand out as LATAM’s top shared services markets. The importance of using structured IT Service Management (ITSM) practices is more evident than ever before – even as businesses try to elevate their IT department to the role of a strategic business enabler, most IT departments today are still operating under unstructured, break-fix approaches which keep them stuck in firefighting mode. Read the latest Auxis blog from Jose Alvarez, Managing Director of Infrastructure Technology, about how ITSM can help deliver IT as a service, improving overall performance and productivity, and driving efficiency and end-user satisfaction: https://lnkd.in/esG93i3c #IT #ITSM #IToperations #outsourcing

Today’s Auxis webinar “Take your UiPath Program to the Next Level with AI at Work” revealed some interesting insights on the AI and automation technologies organizations are prioritizing in 2024 versus what they have implemented till now: - Process/task mining (56%) and Intelligent Document Processing (48%) are the technologies organizations are planning to prioritize this year. Yet, only 10% said they had implemented either successfully. - Organizations are proceeding with caution on Generative AI as they look to understand real-world use cases, only 5% said they have successfully implemented it yet. But 36% included it in their 2024 priorities – a sign that they want to move out of the “wait and watch” phase. - RPA – which is the technology already successfully implemented by 71% of organizations – will continue to be significant, emerging as the third-highest priority (44%)for 2024. Thank you to all those who attended the session and to our speakers: UiPath’s Head of AI Strategy Edward Challis, Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc.'s Sr. Manager of Business Applications Leah Hatcher, Auxis Director of Intelligent Automation Eduardo Diquez, and Auxis Sr. Managing Director of Digital Transformation Bill Woodford. Stay tuned for the webinar recap and presentation slides which will be live soon!
