It was our pleasure to welcome Ancala to our facility in Alicante, Spain, last week. The goal? To showcase the incredible capabilities of our people on the ground, in the air – and in the water! Our #Canadair CL-215 model was the star of Avincis lounge at #Portugal Air Summit, the main aviation event in the country, visited by around 15,000 people last week.   While showcasing our brand and business, we surprised many of those who approached us. Why? Although we have been in the business of saving lives and protecting communities for decades, we mostly operate anonymously on behalf of states and governments. This means many members of the public don’t realise we are the people behind the “yellow helicopters” and “yellow aeroplanes”, which come to their rescue when every second counts!   "Ah, you guys fly the 'Portuguese' Canadairs?" Yes, that's us! "INEM’s emergency medical helicopters are yours?"
