🐉 Philadelphia is making steps to cure the relationships between tenant and landlord. The Eviction Diversion Program is a new policy aiming that requires landlords to engage in out-of-court negotiations with tenants before filing for eviction in court. The aim is to resolve disputes and keep tenants in their homes, instead of engaging with the nasty alternative. 🐉 I'm curious how well our inflation data (and confidence in that data) will stand against the scrutiny of this jobs report at the next Fed meeting. Goldman Sachs predicted a potential revision of up to 1 million fewer jobs, while Wells Fargo expected a reduction of at least 600,000. Significant downward adjustments occurred in professional and business services (358,000 fewer jobs), leisure and hospitality (150,000 fewer), and manufacturing (115,000 fewer). Trade, transportation, and utilities also saw a decrease of 104,000 jobs. Some sectors saw positive revisions. Again, a "revision" is a euphemism for the net effect on actual people having or not having actual jobs. Private education, health services, transportation, and warehousing added more positions. The "other services" category saw an increase of 21,000 jobs. That's harder to pin down. 📉 Most of us that are rate-sensitive know that a rate cut is too late, but still more than welcome. We'll see that this time around on Sept-18. Not financial advice; just opinions. This little account is correct on fixed income way more often than it's incorrect. In honesty, it's the only market segment I know I'm locked into. Here's the snippet: "We are seriously curious what tomorrow does to both. Assuming the #Fed meeting instigates more downward fixed income pressure, it's likely we'll see more activity executed on those underlying #securities. Though these (#equity instruments / #debt instruments) typically move to the inverse of each other, we think we see improvements for both — from a stock investment perspective and a fixed income investment perspective. Incredible work being done in Brewerytown of #Philadelphia. Naturally, it got its name because of the numerous breweries that were located along the Schuylkill during the late 19th century and early 20th century. Lately, and for the past 5 years or so, Brewerytown has seen a recent influx of young professionals, and it is considered a neighborhood on the rise. Block by block, these streets are coming to life. Might even be nicer than your neighborhood.
