The Avocet team promotions are 🔺 red 🔺 hot this summer! We are so stoked to see so many colleagues continue to advance their careers with us. Please give it up for our latest superstars at Tides Folly Beach! Brittany Riggleman has been promoted to Director of Sales at Tides Folly Beach after having joined the property team as the Group Sales & Service Manager in 2022. Brittany will be your go-to gal for any event needs in Folly! Teraneka Major has been promoted to Front Office Manager at Tides Folly Beach. Teraneka is a Charleston native with over 20 years of experience in customer service and sales. Most recently, she served as the Housekeeping Supervisor at Tides and she's thrilled to be bringing her positive attitude to the front of house. Desiree Davis has been promoted to Housekeeping Supervisor at Tides Folly Beach. Also a Charleston native, Desiree joined the Tides team in April as an Inspector and quickly proved to be the perfect candidate for Housekeeping Supervisor. Congrats to all of our incredible team members!

As we gear up to debut The Admiral and its new signature restaurant, Le Moyne's Chophouse, we are thrilled to welcome Jonavin Murray to the team as the new General Manager of Le Moyne's. Jonavin has had an illustrious career in the food & beverage industry, with positions ranging from managing F&B concepts to executive chef roles. He is excited to join the team at Le Moyne's and help bring this fine dining restaurant to life in Mobile! Please join us in welcoming Jonavin to the team. 👏 🎉

We're excited to share the following Avocet team members have been promoted to new elevated roles within the company: Sawyer Gummo has been promoted to Banquet Manager at The Read House Hotel. He joined the team at The Read House in 2021 as the Bar & Billiards Room Manager and is excited to learn and develop a new set of skills in the banquet department. Chandler Thomassen has been promoted to the Bar & Billiards Room Manager at The Read House Hotel. He joined the hotel team in 2021 as a Bartender and has worked his way up to management in just three short years. Jordan Thompson has been promoted to Guest Services Supervisor at Tides Folly Beach. Jordan joined the Tides team in 2019 as a bellman. He continued his hospitality journey at the hotel as a Front Desk Agent and later as Guest Service Agent. Congratulations to all! So well deserved. 👏 👏 👏
