What really strikes me this year is the growing concern around fake news, which thousands of respondents clearly flagged as a significant emerging risk. Fake news is a critical issue, deeply intertwined with other major risks, intensifying social tensions and geopolitical instability. Why are we concerned? Because misinformation is the enemy of prevention. This edition is once again a wealth of insights, underlining the polycrisis the world is facing. AXA Liabilities Managers kicked off the 2024 annual corporate responsibility week (#AXAWeekforGood) with a speech from Jennifer N. Lejeune (AXA LM CEO) on the role of AXA in climate adaptation, a presentation by Paul-Louis from Group Risk Management on emerging risks and a speech by Cloé on the importance of adopting a good IT storage policy to reduce carbon emissions. Tomorrow we'll be attending 2 other online conferences to raise employee awareness of water-related issues, and over the next few days, we'll walk the talk: planting trees, cleaning up a beach, investigating the treatment of the water from the Seine or participating in water cycle workshops. Enjoy the AXA Week for Good!
