At Freedom Service Dogs, they believe dogs can make a profound difference in the everyday lives of people challenged by disabilities. Daily tasks and routines that many take for granted can be challenging and complex for a veteran or first responder with PTSD or a traumatic brain injury, an individual with limited mobility, or a young person with autism. At FSD, they purpose-breed and custom train dogs that empower individuals with disabilities to live lives filled with possibility. BP was proud to be a part of the FSD clay shoot this year to bring funding and awareness to their project. Over the last several weeks we were fortunate to be able host Diamondback Energy for several pump schools with our Artificial Lift Systems Technical Manager, Matthew Horton. Everyone was able to ask questions and learn more about how rod pumps function and got to see the process of tearing down and repairing pumps in the shop. Diamondack has been a great partner and we look forward to being able to offer more of these pump schools in the future in our newly expanded Midland location! #rodpumps #permianbasin #energy
Some members of our team had the opportunity to deliver boxes for Mission Agape. Mission Agape is an organization focused on addressing the challenges of food insecurity that effects Midland and surrounding counties. Since January 2012, Mission Agape has served within the Permian Basin through different community events and programs to demonstrate God’s Love in Action. BP counts ourselves fortunate to be able to help such a great organization with great people to help make sure our communities have plenty of food.
