BADideas.fund has just had its first exit! 🔥🔥🔥 Just two years ago, our community of 250 unicorn builders backed RoomPriceGenie with a €170,000 investment. At the time they had fewer than 1,000 customers and a big market opportunity. Today, they serve more than 3,000 hotels worldwide and have secured a $75M investment. #fundraisingschool is out and with that the second run of my favourite BADideas.fund project is over. I've posted plenty about the stellar founders, investors and 💰 numbers, all of which obviously matter, but here's how else I like to measure #success: - A #founder shared that the vibe & culture was so upbeat, our sessions brought him much-needed joy in otherwise cumbersome founder day-to-day ❤️ - I found a true #partner in Laura Zarina who sponsored the project at Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra - LIAA with *a lot* on her plate and had to put real trust in me and the team that we'll deliver 🙌 - This #team didn't need any convincing to return for the second year and showed up despite work schedules, travels with future in-laws (stressful!) and actual geopolitical tensions - Diana Daiub Diana Lace Davidova Suhas Ghante that's the best feedback I could be asking for. 💃 I'm sure this batch will smash #investment hopes, and I hope we get to bring even more amazing teams to #investors down the line. But in the meantime, I'm grateful for the stuff that really matters. 🎯
