Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a pre-screening of "Children of Acid" in Chicago. The room was packed, with the energy spilling out into the corridor and even the front of house! We are beyond grateful to everyone who came out and became part of this incredible moment. Children of Acid is a short documentary that dives deep into the early Midwest rave scene of the 90s and its lasting influence on music and culture today. Directed by Dimitri Max, produced by Luis Baro and production management by Valerie R. Zabriskie. Thank you for your continued support! Thrilled to announce that "BANGER" just won a Gold Award at the 45th Telly Awards for Best Comedic Short! A year ago, I embarked on this project as a one-man team. The journey wasn't easy - facing countless rejections and carving my own path (creating baffe) was challenging. But I believed in the power of storytelling, and "BANGER" became a 5-minute comedic explosion showcasing my 20 years of design, editing, and sound design experience. Winning against industry giants like MTV, Accenture, and Nike is truly humbling and a motivator to keep growing and creating. -Dimitri

Thrilled to share my film 'Destiny,' made for the 48 Hour Film Project (filmed in just 48 hours!), is screening this Friday May 17th at the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring. I am incredibly honored to have worked with our talented cast and crew on this project and thank you all for your trust. I'm so proud of what we accomplished together. **Wrapping up year one with a bang! ** Bursting with pride to share that "BANGER" took home Best Short Film awards in Paris and New York, and is now set to screen in Hollywood! I'm also thrilled that the documentary "The Chicago Lago," which I edited and sound designed for Director Valerie Zabriskie, has been nominated for the 24th annual Beverly Hills Film Festival. This past year has been a rollercoaster of passion, dedication, and incredible achievements. I'm deeply grateful for the support of our collaborators and community who made it all possible. ✨ Stay tuned for even more exciting projects on the horizon, including a documentary, music video for a billboard artist, and a short film.
