Kicking-off the 2024 Olympic games, Baker Hughes style. In the lead-up to the opening of the games over the past four weeks, our local teams in France organized a series of Olympic-themed celebrations that finished with a torch relay. The torch, a universal symbol of peace and friendship, was crafted by our Machining Department and was passed between our sites as a sign of unity. The grand finale, an 'Olympic Festive Day,' saw 20 teams competing in a variety of activities. Today we announced second quarter 2024 earnings results. We are very pleased with our performance as we continue to build on the momentum from last year, noting that we: ✔ Maintained strong operational performance across the company, marking the 6th consecutive quarter of meeting or exceeding the midpoint of our quarterly EBITDA guidance ✔ Booked $3.5B of orders across our Industrial & Energy Technology business segment, signifying the highest level of non-LNG equipment quarterly bookings in our company’s history ✔ Saw continued traction our Gas Tech Services business, booking to backlog three multi-year service awards that totaled $500 million, adding recurring, long-term and profitable revenue streams ✔ Demonstrated strong first-half performance in new energy, trending toward the high end of the year’s new energy guidance range of $800M to $1B, reflecting the versatility and innovation of our technologies and solutions As demands on producers and users continue to increase, we remain steadfast in our journey to propel energy, and industry, toward a more sustainable, efficient and innovative future. Powering a brighter future 💡 We're proud to announce that our 'Solar Lumina' project in Kerala, India was awarded the Best Solar Energy Initiative at The Global CSR & ESG Summit & Awards. Recognizing the challenges faced by residents of the remote island of Perumbalam due to inadequate street lighting, our team of volunteers embarked on a multi-phase project to install 70 solar streetlamps across the island, empowering the community with sustainable energy, safety, and economic opportunities. This transformative initiative showcases how renewable solutions can create safer and more resilient communities. It addressed the islanders' immediate needs, providing long-term sustainable impact through community engagement and capacity building, and will serve as a roadmap for future CSR initiatives in the area. We’re proud to announce a long-term agreement with Wabash Valley Resources (WVR), a leader in low-carbon ammonia fertilizer production, to supply advanced technology services and solutions to support their Clean Ammonia Production Project in Indiana, US. The agreement will utilize leading-edge technology to repower and repurpose an existing gasification plant, becoming Indiana’s first ammonia fertilizer plant. It will serve the U.S. Corn Belt and agricultural community by creating a sustainable, reliable supply of domestic, lower-cost fertilizer produced through a zero-carbon-capable process while capturing 1.65 million tons of CO2 per year. “We are excited for this milestone with Wabash Valley Resources to advance geological carbon capture and storage technology in the United States.
