Over the past 65 years, we've learned some things about sealing, connecting, conducting, and EMI shielding. So we figured, why not share? Our free DesignLive seminars deliver practical education right to your door (or desk), with on-site or virtual sessions that focus on engineering, not sales. Use the links to schedule yours. Space is infinite. Opportunities to launch and operate LEO satellites? Not so much. If you're designing waveguides, antennas, and other passive satellite components, make your shot count—shield against EMI/RFI and drive your RF signal with our compact, highly conductive Bal Spring canted coil spring. https://lnkd.in/gbQQhM7 #satellites #spacetech #newspace #smallsats #springs #EMIshielding #antennas #waveguides

We know one camera isn’t going to change the world. But we hope it sparks creativity among students at PTEC, and we appreciate the chance to give. https://lnkd.in/gxtNeBDg
Bal Seal Engineering generously donated a gently used high-definition video camera to PTEC during an assembly this morning. They will use it for recording graduation ceremonies, creating promotional spots, producing yearbook videos, and other projects. During the assembly, Bal Seal's David Hoffa spoke to our students about the company's mission and activities before presenting the camera to PTEC's Megan Chamillard, a math and history teacher and the head of the yearbook committee.

Joe Beard from INSTRUMENTAL MACHINE & DEVELOPMENT LLC wasn't sure our Bal Spring could meet his customer's criteria for cleanability and performance after multiple sterilization cycles. But some real-world testing made him a believer. Watch, and download a cleanability white paper here: https://lnkd.in/dkaZgsDE

Maybe you’re not quite ready to let go of the steering wheel when it comes to seal design. You want to take a test drive first, and be more involved in the front end of the process. We get that, and we’ve got you covered with our free online configuration platform, Seal Starter 3D. Try it now. https://lnkd.in/gGwZaj7

Sometimes, engineers get a bad rap for focusing too much on precision and accuracy. But if we didn't, we wouldn't have moments - like the one at the end of this video - that remind us why we do what we do. https://lnkd.in/gZMDHsj #engineeringmatters #changinglives #cochlear #medicalimplantables #contacts

When a medical device is profitable and popular, it's tempting to leave well enough alone, right? Innomed, Inc. didn't think so. They saw an opportunity to proactively improve their products with our Bal Spring, and they went for it. See what happened in this quick read from TMD: https://lnkd.in/evVB2fu5

When it comes to giving, our employees really step up. More than 20 volunteers at our Colorado Springs facility rolled up their sleeves to donate during a recent blood drive. Their gifts will help address nationwide shortages, and may even save lives. #givingemployees #community #blooddonation #vitalantbloodbank
