Something small but definitely made my week. Over 5 years ago shortly after getting my Aggie Ring someone broke into the house I was living in and stole a lot of smaller items. 2 things that they took that were sentimental to me were my James Avery Charm bracelet I’ve had since I was a child and the box that my Aggie Ring came in (thankfully I was wearing my ring so that wasn’t taken as well). I looked in the past and realized that you can’t buy a replacement box and other things became a priority and I didn’t look into more. Flash forward to 2 weeks ago when I went and celebrated Haley getting her ring. She was showing me the box and it hit me that I was still sad that the box was gone. After reaching out to the The Association of Former Students I found out the Balfour, the ring manufacturer, gifts the boxes to the students who order their Aggie Rings which is why they aren’t for sale. I decided that there wasn’t any harm in emailing Balfour and asking if there was any way for me to purchase a replacement box. I am very appreciative of the customer service Balfour & Co has specifically Patrick M. for helping me. Shortly after reaching out a replacement box was mailed out to me at no charge. I know it’s something small that most people wouldn’t think twice about but I am grateful for the time they put in to helping me. This is now a memorable keepsake with an even better story ❤️
