We are excited to announce our partnership with AthlyticZ who kicked off our inaugural youth football camp with a generous donation of $1,000! Their support doesn't end there as over 50 high school players who attended our football camp, hosted by Green Bay Packers TE Tyler Davis, will receive complimentary licenses to learn Python on the AthlyticZ academy platform. This includes covering all cloud computing costs for the next six months. We are excited to announce our new Board of Trustees member, Josh Harry! Josh is currently the Director of Operations of Sky Zone Trampoline Parks, with locations in New Jersey, Arizona, California and Connecticut. On top of that, Josh operates Josh Harry Travel, a full-service travel agency, as well as serves on board and is the Events Chairman for the Robert Wood Johnson Young Professional Group, Board Member for New Egypt Youth Football & Cheer, and on the Steering Committee for Shop Hamilton Additionally, Josh is an active volunteer with the Spread the Joy Foundation and many other philanthropic organizations throughout Mercer & Ocean County. Josh has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for local PTO/PTA, Churches, Sport Teams, and more through Sky Zone. Sky Zone under Josh's Leadership has hosted Blood Drives through RWJ, Vaccination Drives through the Hamilton Health Department, and various events! Josh is eager to join Ballers & Bookworms because he believes deeply in the Ballers & Bookworm's mission and values and seeks to expand the organization's impact.

Throwback Thursday! Thanks to our incredible donors, we were able to send Jordan, one of our student-athletes, to a football recruiting camp at Lafayette College in July. From 40-yard dashes to 1-on-1 drills, Jordan showcased his skills at linebacker and running back in front of numerous college coaches from all division levels. After a full day of drills and talking with coaches, Jordan said, 'I can't wait to come back next year and dominate!' 🏈💪 #leveltheplayingfield #studentathlete #collegerecruiting #footballcamp

Most students in the Keansburg school district walk to and from school every day. Members of the faculty recently notified us that they frequently see students coming in with tattered and worn-out shoes. They specifically identified 4 students whose shoes were unfit for the walk to school, and too worn down to be able to participate in gym class. On December 12th, our Executive Director Tyler Kazio delivered 4 brand new pairs of running shoes and 16 packs of socks to Keansburg High School. These students are now able to go to school and participate in gym class in comfort and style.
