We congratulate our Aquatics Managers Kristina and Katherine for receiving the Exceptional Leadership Award! In August, while our Director of Aquatics Vince was away on his honeymoon, Kristina and Katherine did an incredible job overseeing daily pool operations. This included maintaining pool chemistry, general maintenance, managing staff, handling first aid situations, and ensuring the safety of our members and guests. Although this award recognizes their outstanding service in August, their exceptional contributions spanned the entire summer. Kristina and Katherine taught swim lessons, assisted with swim meets, trained staff, and administered countless swim tests. These two managers have become seasoned veterans at the pool and continue to lead our lifeguards to new levels of excellence each year! We congratulate our Membership Assistant Hannah for receiving the Simple Truth Award! Our Director of Membership, Casey, recently spoke with a member who was transitioning to a different status while undergoing cancer treatment. After their conversation, Casey relayed the details to Hannah in preparation for an upcoming meeting. Without hesitation, Hannah thought about the member’s comfort during this time and suggested putting together a tote filled with BCC items from the Golf Shop. Within minutes, she selected a cozy sweatshirt for the member from the shop. What impressed Casey was how quickly Hannah acted. She expressed that she felt inspired to help as if it was something she was meant to do.
