A few members of our team and their families got to join and show our support at the Henry's Village event at Snow Farm Vineyard. The Henry's Village campaign raised $175,000 with $1.35M still needed for Henry to be treated this upcoming Spring. It is incredible to see Vermont rally behind sweet Henry and his family. Meet Henry - A local 4-year-old Vermonter born with a rare, one-in-a-million genetic neurological condition called AHC. AHC (Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood) is life-threatening and neuro-degenerative with currently no cure or established treatment. Henry's parents started their non-profit For Henry AHC to work towards a cure and are fundraising with local Vermont businesses. On August 10th, members of our staff will be attending an event to support For Henry AHC. The organization will be hosting Henry's Village, a dinner at Snowfarm Vineyard in South Hero, from 6-9 pm including many favorite food and beverage sponsors: Snowfarm Vineyard, Zero Gravity, Whistle Pig Whiskey, Jasper Hill Farm, Ben & Jerry's, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Prohibition Pig, American Flatbread, Pizzeria Verita, Our House Bistro, August First, NU Chocolat, Folino's Pizza, Ecobean, and Roll Away Cafe. The event will also include an auction, concert from Kat Wright and her band, flowers from June Farm, and professional photography by Colette Kulig. We hope some of you will be able to join us and share with friends! Meet the Team - Michael Woulf, Relationship Manager! Michael is a key part of our Relationship Management team here at the bank. If you're lucky enough to work with him, you'll learn he has a great sense of humor and is always ready to devise quick solutions to meet all your banking needs! Michael shared that his favorite part of working here is how fun and smart our team is.   So, why should you bank with us? According to Michael, "It literally makes the most cents! Meet the Team - Colin Burns, Relationship Manager! Colin joined us almost eight months ago and is part of our Relationship Management team. He is a native of Vermont and originally from the Colchester area. Colin has been making impressive strides as he helps grow our Bank of Burlington community and works hard to ensure the best customer experience from start to finish. Colin’s favorite part about working for the Bank of Burlington is “the people -- we have incredible customers and an upbeat, hardworking crew. We are local. We provide fast service. We know the market.  BoB is the place to be.”

Some of our team had a wonderful time at the Small Business Administration’s 2024 Awards reception, supporting and celebrating our very own CEO, Geoff, who was named the Financial Services Champion! Thank you, SBA, for hosting such a great event, and congratulations to all the recipients!
