    Meet your banker, Angelina Garcia! Angelina was recently promoted to Private Relationship Manager at The Bank of Tampa’s Westshore office. She brings more than 12 years of experience in business development in industries including banking, finance and insurance. She is passionate about giving back and currently volunteers with Feeding Tampa Bay, Trinity Café and Metropolitan Ministries, in addition to previously serving as a board member for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’s Tampa chapter. Outside of the office, Angelina is an abstract painter inspired by nature and emotions. Additionally, she loves playing board games with her family, playing golf, practicing yoga, reading and spending time outdoors with her husband, step-daughter and two dogs, Mia and Winnie.     We are pleased to report that all Bank of Tampa banking offices and drive-thrus are now open with regular business hours effective today, Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Downtown St. Petersburg Office Clients – Please note, valet service will not be running due to area construction and repairs. Parking is available on Levels 3 & 4 of the automated South Core Parking Garage located at 101 1st Ave South. Please use the pedestrian bridge located on Level 2 to access our building. Westshore Office Clients – Entry to our parking lot is restricted and rerouted due to downed power lines on Cypress Street. To enter, head north on Westshore Boulevard, turn right into the Tampa Nails Plaza and proceed to our lot ahead. We look forward to serving you!

    We have just received clearance from our landlord at our Bayshore Office in Tampa, 601 Bayshore Boulevard, and we will be able to reopen our drive thru at 1:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, October 15. At this time, only three offices remain closed: Sunset Park – (Hillsborough), Westshore (Hillsborough) and Downtown St. Pete (Pinellas).     We hope you and yours have been able to return to some sense of normalcy following the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. Our power has been restored at most of our offices and as such, we will resume regular business at all locations, except our Sunset Park and Bayshore offices, effective tomorrow, Tuesday, October 15.     We hope you and your loved ones are safe after the storm. After an assessment of our offices, we will be able to reopen the following banking offices tomorrow at noon, Friday, October 11. Armenia – 4400 N. Armenia Avenue (Hillsborough County) Lakewood Ranch – 10650 Boardwalk Loop, Lakewood Ranch (Manatee County) Our operations team will be working regular business hours tomorrow to process payments, transfers, wires, and ACH/payroll requests. We are working diligently to reopen all other offices on Tuesday, October 15, pending power restoration. In the meantime, should you need assistance, please contact us at (813) 872-1200.

    UPDATE: In an effort to keep our staff and clients safe from any potential impacts from Hurricane Milton, The Bank of Tampa and BT Wealth Advisors’ physical offices will be closing early today, Monday, October 7. Our Bayshore office will close at 1 p.m., and all other banking offices are currently scheduled to close at 2 p.m. We will be closed, Tuesday, October 8 through Thursday, October 10. We will continue to monitor the situation, and we will make a decision about reopening when it is safe to do so. At this time, out of respect for our employees, we will be suspending all bank operations, which include services such as Wires, ACH, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit, Mobile Deposit, Internal Transfers and Zelle, at the end of the business day, Tuesday, October 8 through Thursday, October 10. We plan to reopen as soon as possible.
