BAPOC will convene, support, advocate for, and promote New Hampshire businesses owned by people of color.
About us
BAPOC businesses play a critical role in the New Hampshire economy, and these owners often encounter unique obstacles when managing and growing their companies. Access to financial capital, social capital, and human capital can often create barriers to growth. BAPOC-NH, a NH non-profit, will convene, support, advocate for, and promote New Hampshire businesses owned by people of color. BAPOC-NH will leverage local, state, and federal resources to expand diversity, equity and inclusion. This will also include wealth building and social capital for the betterment of New Hampshire’s minority owned businesses, underserved communities, and economic vitality.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible contributions of Latino-owned small businesses in New Hampshire! 🙌🏽✨ Latino entrepreneurs are enriching our communities with their entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and cultural heritage. From authentic restaurants and specialty grocery stores to traditional crafts and art, they’re not only boosting the local economy but also adding vibrant diversity to our state’s cultural fabric. Take John Cardona, owner of El Parcero in Manchester, for example. His store is a treasure trove of specialty ethnic products, offering ingredients that bring the authentic flavors of Central America right to our doorstep. These businesses serve as essential pillars of our community, fostering unity and providing spaces where people from all backgrounds can come together. Let’s celebrate and support them not just this month, but all year round! 👉🏽 Read more about how Latinos are empowering New Hampshire’s economy: https://bit.ly/4dYtPuC #HispanicHeritageMonth #SupportSmallBusiness #CommunityUnity Let’s carry this inspiration into the new week by supporting and appreciating the diversity that makes our community strong! ❤️
