Meet Brent Cervenka, ACBL's new Chief Operating Officer! With 25+ years of experience in logistics and operations, including 16 years at Amazon, Brent brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to our Team. Since joining ACBL in June 2024, he’s been inspired by the dedication of our mariners, especially after spending time aboard the M/V Mark Knoy. Outside of work, Brent enjoys golf, pickleball, and bass fishing. As a proud father of two boys, aged 17 and 21, he values family and the great outdoors. We’re thrilled to have Brent on board and look forward to the IMPACT he’ll make! #ACBLTeam #Leadership #MaritimeIndustry #ChiefOperatingOfficer #Logistics

After 43 years on the river, Owen Aldridge will step off the boat for the last time tomorrow. As an engineer on the M/V Jeffboat, Owen's dedication, skill, and love for his craft have made a lasting IMPACT on the industry and everyone who had the pleasure of working with him. From starting out as a Sears mechanic to becoming a self-described "grease monkey" in the engine room, Owen’s journey to ACBL began with a chance offer from a friend but quickly turned into a lifelong passion. One of Owen’s mentors, Ron Schneider, described him best: "Owen is one of the most dependable engineers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He’s the kind of non-squeaky wheel that just gets things done—always showing up, never complaining, and consistently delivering." Ron’s words perfectly capture Owen’s work ethic and the deep respect he earned from fellow Team Members. As Owen steps into retirement, he looks forward to spending more time with his wife, Debbie, and their family, while also enjoying his hobbies—restoring classic cars, riding his Harley, and taking his own boat out on the water. Thank you, Owen, for your years of service and the lasting IMPACT you've made at ACBL. Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement! #ACBLTeam #Engineer #Retirement #MaritimeCareers

Meet Ricky Stover, ACBL's new Chief Commercial Officer! With 20+ years in transportation, Ricky brings a fresh perspective and a wealth of knowledge from the rail and trucking sectors. His career, which began with a degree in education, may seem unconventional, but as Ricky says, "It makes sense when you look back." Ricky's passion for running has been a constant in his life, leading him to meet his wife in college and now raising three kids together. He jokes that while he wasn’t much for football or baseball, running has opened countless doors for him in life. Since joining ACBL, he’s been impressed by the Team’s mix of experience and openness to new ideas. We’re excited to have Ricky on board and can’t wait to see the incredible contributions he’ll bring to our Team! #ACBLTeam #Leadership #MaritimeIndustry #TransportationIndustry #ChiefCommercialOfficer
