The irony is that over the past years I had two bipolar thoughts. On one side, I wanted to be the super hero but I couldn't and on the other side I didn't want to be the super hero but I felt like I "had" to. How do you feel about delegation in your business? For me it has been Life Changing! I wanted to be able to juggle everything without ever dropping the ball. And I felt that no one could do it better than I could and so no one should. I think part of me was afraid that if we made 1 mistake, the business would crumble. The reality is, as the business has scaled it has been impossible to do everything. You need to have focused work or nothing gets done. And I have come to see the beauty in letting people do good work and to have ownership over specific roles because we have been able to have way more success because of that. For me the areas I enjoy most is focusing on is continuing to solve problems, poke holes in my business, and implement new systems and processes to help it grow. I love to see things from a 5,000 ft view. I also love empowering an incredible team. I feel I am at my best often when there aren't too many strings attached to me so I can get into a flow and do more important work. Thanks to my team who has helped me overcome my flawed thinking and has helped us grow and serve more people through empowering our team.

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend! Today, I took a moment to reflect on gratitude. I'm thankful for my amazing wife, who packed a special lunch for our kid, making his day extra special. Grateful for my office manager, also my brother-in-law, who wanted my son to visit me at work. And I appreciate Glide for emphasizing going the extra mile. Implementing service in our business is truly rewarding. Today, while on a customer's roof for gutter cleaning, we also cleaned and re-caulked all end caps.
