President Kym McLane Kicks Off Rotary Year with “The Magic of Rotary” On July 10th, President Kym McLane launched the Rotary year with an inspiring presentation, “The Magic of Rotary.” She emphasized the importance of family involvement in creating Rotary magic and highlighted our Community Christmas program’s impact. We also welcomed two new members, Sarah Griffie and Kline Chambliss, bringing our total to 56. Let’s make this year magical together!

Saving the best for last! Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting the Rotary District 6910 Governor Brandy Swanson for her final club visit for the Rotary year. We had an insightful and inspiring message on “Why are we Rotarians?” As a club that has seen tremendous growth (from 38 to soon-to-be 56 members), it was great to hear from club members about what attracted them to the club and why they chose to be Rotarians! It was also the final meeting for our Charter President Benjamin McDaniel “We are a fun hang and we make a tremendous impact in the community…specifically our Community Christmas program which provided Christmas assistance for over 2,300 Barrow area kids! I can’t wait to see the club continue to thrive, grow and make a deeper impact in the community under Kym McLane’s leadership!” 🎉 What a great inaugural year! 🥳
