🌍 BASF ECMS is proud to contribute to the HyPRO consortium, the largest green hydrogen R&D initiative in the Netherlands launched by GroenvermogenNL. With 58 partners and a grant of more than €34.5 million from the Dutch Research Council NWO, the new project aims to progress sustainable hydrogen production through advances in electrolysis ⚡️ and plasma technology.    Reducing the cost of green hydrogen and scaling up its production requires improving electrolysis technology. 💡 HyPRO plans to make a major contribution to this and help accelerate the implementation of this technology.       🤝 Together with the other contributing partners, we look forward to bringing our deep expertise in catalysis, precious metals, and the production of catalyst coated membranes to support the global energy transition.     Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gcBpPp-p

Yesterday, on World Mental Health Day, we reflected on the importance of mental health, particularly for men. Joined by ECMS sites across the globe, we listened to an impactful message from Ryan Parke, men’s coach and TEDx speaker, who shared his personal experiences about the struggles men face when with mental health. As Andrea McCarthy, ECMS Global HR Leader shared, “We are reminded of the importance of creating a culture of care, compassion and support. Mental health affects us all, and today, we reflect on how we can foster environments that truly promote well-being.” To mark this day, ECMS sites hosted a variety of activities, including yoga sessions 🧘♂️, meditation, mental health workshops and wellbeing programs, helping to create a healthier and more supportive workplace. On September 26, we marked the 10th anniversary of BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions’ catalyst factory in Poland! 🎉 The event kicked off with speeches from Jan Eberhardt, Markus Steigner, Anna Tarasewicz, Jan Garbe, Katarzyna Byczkowska, Jan Oldenburg and Stephan Hermes. Guests were treated to an impressive laser show on a water screen, which highlighted the factory’s journey over the past decade, and enjoyed a 360 selfie station for some fun memories. 🎥 The evening was filled with laughter, live music from the XO SHOW band, and plenty of dancing. The event was hosted by Polish sports journalist Maciej Kurzajewski, who kept the energy high throughout the night. We initially announced a donation of € 23,000 from the BASF Group to support flood victims. Thanks to the efforts of Stephan Hermes and Jan Oldenburg, who pledged additional aid during the event, this amount was increased to € 35,000, with all funds directed to the District Hospital in Nysa. During the gala, employees contributed an additional € 2,000 and BASF ECMS pledged to double the amount, further enhancing our support for those in need. 💙🤝 #BASFECMS #10Years #PlatinumGala #SupportingCommunities #Innovation #Milestones
