Connection Around The Globe: Seasonal Company Culture Event for 2,800 Employees! Challenge: Our client needed an inclusive, family-friendly, global event for thousands of employees. It had to be customizable, and feature local businesses, while also respecting privacy. Solution: We created a choose-your-own-adventure style challenge with seasonal themes (think interactive kits + on-demand content) that sparked connection and joy across the global workforce. Global - accessible to all, regardless of location. Inclusive - fun for everyone, with activities for families. Flexible - participants could choose their own pace. Customizable - themes refreshed quarterly and aligned with business goals. Results: This engaging experience fostered a sense of community and connection for a geographically diverse workforce. Does your company wait until December to begin showing appreciation? The holiday season symbolizes festivity, but relying on a single year-end party may not be enough to sustain motivation moving into the new year. Implementing a strategy of continuous appreciation throughout Q4 elevates employee morale, combats the year-end slump, fosters stronger team bonds, and establishes a solid foundation for success in the upcoming year. Here are five Bash tips on how to engage your employees throughout your entire Q4! 1. Kickoff with a Purpose: Plan a team-building activity or goal-setting session at the beginning of Q4 to set the tone for a productive and collaborative quarter that will spill over into the new year! 2. Celebrate Milestones (Big and Small): Acknowledge individual and team achievements throughout the quarter, no matter the size. A public shout-out or a small reward can go a long way to your employees. Alternatively, encourage your team to reflect on their own wins and share them. 3. Get Creative with Team Building: Move beyond the traditional office happy hour. Explore local historical attractions, volunteer together, or organize a friendly competition. The absence of alcohol and some light facilitation is a great way for people to create more meaningful connections with each other. 4. Focus on Wellness: Get a head start on the typical “New Year's Resolution” and help your teams build healthy habits during a typically gluttonous time. Offer healthy snacks, on-site fitness classes, or mental health workshops to demonstrate your commitment to employee well-being during the often chaotic and hectic holiday season. 5. End on a High Note: Wrap up your quarter of appreciation with a well-planned holiday party! Intentionally carry this theme of appreciation and connection into a celebration curated to tie this all together and directly share your appreciation for their partnership and support, then share with them the vision for the next year to get the whole company pumped for what is to come! Our genius Sales Manager, Simone Aguilar came up with a solution so innovative that we asked her to write a blog on her out-of-the-box concept. It's been 1 month since the Bash Creative Inc annual team retreat in #CDMX! Upon returning home, I immediately jumped into a jam packed two weeks of hot deadlines, complex proposals, attending a conference, and of course lots of meetings. When it rains it pours. But truthfully, it all couldn't have come at a better time, because I was/am feeling so rejuvenated from the invaluable time I had with my teammates. Being an 'experience first' company, it was not surprising to me that the guiding light for the entire trip clearly revolved around "How is this going to make them feel? Does this feel intentional? Serve a purpose? Apply to our goals? We explored a beautiful city rich with captivating culture, delicious food, charming neighborhoods, and wonderful people. Not only did we have (so much) fun experiencing this city together through various excursions, but we also did awesome trainings together. Being a small team, the sessions and workshops were very intimate. The core goal and message was to "be vulnerable"...which is not an easy ask in any setting, let alone a professional one. But then, we could go beyond the surface to uncover secret skill sets, profound answers, hard truths, deeper connections, and exciting opportunities - and that's exactly what we did, together. None of this is possible though without incredible #leadership to pave the way, showing up exactly as they are asking their employees to. Huge shout out to Hagood-Earl, Annalee & Danielle Leeke! Moral of the story - commit to the team #offsite, design a truly special agenda, and spend quality time with your team IRL (and far away from the office). A most glorious week for our Bash Creative Inc retreat in Mexico City! It's rare to be IRL when we work remotely/all over the globe, but even more rare to work with a company that invests so significantly in their team. From deep conversations facilitated through training and workshops, to touring this complex, beautiful city with expert guides in architecture, ecology, and sociocultural history -- this was, by far, my favorite work trip EVER!
