The strength of our network showed as Ms. Rebecca Wilson, Director of Admissions at BASIS Independent Bothell, recently visited BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. Her visit was a great opportunity to observe a well-established K-Grade 12 program in action, where she observed various classes and engaged with students throughout the day. College Counselors from BASIS Independent Silicon Valley recently returned from an exciting trip to the NACAC Conference in Los Angeles, where they gained valuable insights into the latest college admissions trends and strategies. In addition to attending the conference, they visited some of California’s top colleges, including Loyola Marymount University, the Claremont Colleges (Pomona, Claremont McKenna, Pitzer, Scripps, Harvey Mudd), Caltech, and Occidental College. Along the way, they also had the chance to connect with counselors from across our network, exchanging ideas to better support our students in their college journeys. They even ran into Chris Wilcox, BISV’s first College Counselor, and Ms. Angkham, a former Associate Head of School who is now a college counselor at the BASIS Independent Bellevue and Bothell campuses! #CollegeCounseling #NACAC #CollegeAdmissions #Conference

October is National Bullying Prevention Month and our schools have brought out a wide variety of activities and events to educate and encourage students to stand up to bullying and build unity in their community.
