🚀 Exciting News from Battle Road! 🚀 We are thrilled to announce that Battle Road Digital has secured a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS)! 🎉 This groundbreaking partnership will bring innovative wargaming solutions to the forefront of professional military education (PME) and offer new opportunities for immersive, distributed learning experiences. 🔔 Why Wargaming Matters for PME Students: Wargaming has always been a key cornerstone of military strategy and training. It provides PME students with a dynamic platform to test strategies, develop critical thinking skills, and understand complex operational environments in a controlled setting. By simulating real-world scenarios, students can explore various tactics and decision-making processes without the risks associated with live exercises. This hands-on approach to learning helps to bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring that our future leaders are well-prepared for the challenges they will face. Under our collaboration with the NPS we’re excited to explore the future of joint wargaming tournaments within a distributed wargaming environment using our AtomEngine platform. Imagine PME students from various institutions, military branches, and even allied nations coming together in a virtual battlefield to test their skills and strategies. This format not only enhances learning through exposure to diverse perspectives but also fosters collaboration and interoperability among participants. Working with NPS’ operationally experienced military students helps to focus our technology applications to real-world needs. Principles and practice with impact, students help us develop the solutions, then they become leaders educated to employ them.   💡 AtomEngine: The Future is in the Cloud We are also proud to highlight that our wargaming solution, powered by AtomEngine, is now fully in the cloud. This transition to a cloud-based infrastructure offers unparalleled benefits; Accessibility: Students and professionals can access wargaming simulations from anywhere in the world, making it easier to participate in exercises and tournaments without geographical constraints. Scalability: Our cloud-based system can accommodate a wide range of participants, from small groups to large-scale international events, ensuring that we can support diverse and complex scenarios. Flexibility: With AtomEngine in the cloud, we can quickly adapt and update our simulations to reflect the latest developments in technology and strategy, keeping our wargaming solutions at the cutting edge. Our CRADA with the NPS marks a significant milestone for Battle Road, and we are incredibly excited about the possibilities this partnership will unlock. Thank you for your support as we embark on this thrilling journey! #Wargaming #ProfessionalMilitaryEducation #Innovation #BattleRoadDigital #CRADA #AtomEngine #DistributedLearning

Sustainment and Logistics cannot be handwaved when #wargaming and should not be abstracted if possible depending on the purpose of the #wargame. #AtomEngine is driving that philosophy into the foundation of our modeling and simulation platform modeling various classes of supply and implementing artificial behaviors to model the supply chain allowing the participants to focus on decision making. Multiplayer functionality allows for Red and Blue Logisticians to place their hardened and unhardened nodes, take control of manual cargo and sustainment missions in the same environment running parallel to the LSCO and combat focused participants. AtomEngine has the potential to take Joint Wargaming to the next level allowing multinational teams full control over their strategic lift and posture with Logisticians and Combat Arms gaming in tandem with an easy to learn and use platform.

Akin to the Ship Identification Cards, #AtomEngine can also be utilized with 3D models of entities within the platform. #Wargaming with educational pauses throughout can help Professional Military Education courses with familiarizing the students with adversarial platforms and capabilities. A common feedback point from students is often not enough wargaming for contemporary and future fight scenarios, preparing them for the next conflict and not THE conflict. With a simple to use interface and easy onboarding process, AtomEngine is an invaluable tool to add to your organization for a variety of Analytical and Educational use cases.

Now that the GELS Symposium event is over, we've been thinking about #wargaming Logistics and the ways to go about it. Referencing Damien O'Connell's work with Unit Level Training as a framework we can't help but wonder if there is nothing out there for the Officer Corps besides PME Courses and Institutions. Utilizing AtomEngine as the Logistics layer of a #wargame, whether that occurs in the Competition, Crisis or Conflict stage is a way to envision feeding those sustainment effects into the scenario or learning environment. If we take Fight Club International and USA Fight Club's past STAFFEX (Staff Exercise) wargames as an example, and paired that up with an opening game utilizing #AtomEngine of Logisticians only for Blue and Red to allow them to preposition classes of supply, hardened or unhardened sites in cooperation with the participants going into the "Fighting" wargame it would be interesting to see the potential insights from focusing on the sustainment in parallel with the kinetic. If this is interesting to you or you have questions about AtomEngine please feel free to reach out. Always looking for the next path forward to new wargaming frameworks.

We had the pleasure of running the #wargame scene setter portion of Association of Marine Corps Logisticians GELS Symposium event this week in partnership with Travis Reese and Curtis Hudson Jr. Showcasing non-program of record capabilities from participating vendors such as Leviathan Air and REGENT in comparison with existing vessels (USNS Watson and future LSM) showing intra-theater and inter-theater sustainment efforts, #AtomEngine was able to provide a visualization for the audience to think about for three days as they discuss and think about innovative solutions to hard problems. Keep an eye out in the future for our collaborative report on what we can synthesize from utilizing the model and vignettes for #Logistics and #Sustainment during the Symposium. Thank you again to everyone who made this happen and we look forward to next year already!

Don't forget to attend the Association of Marine Corps Logisticians GELS Symposium next week to get a view of our #AtomEngine in action. We'll have Rick Pennington and Kevin Williamson available to answer any questions you may have about our Planet-Scale Modeling and Sim platform. We're excited to participate in providing the wargame portion of this Logistics event and look forward to meeting you all next week at Christopher Newport University. #Wargaming #MODSIM #Logistics #BattleRoad #USMC
