🌟 Team Bay State is making strides for change! 👟 This past weekend, our incredible team plus family and friends showed up in full force, participating in not just one, but TWO charity walks/runs! On Saturday, members, including President Seth A. Pitts, rallied for the Reliant Foundation 5K, raising funds for vital youth mental health and substance use prevention programs with Jonas Faucher winning his age bracket! Then, on Sunday, we took part in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, supporting the Alzheimer's Association® and their mission for better care and research. We are proud to #BeBayState and come together to make a positive impact on our community and support these important initiatives! 💙 #CommittedtoCommunity

About us
Our History Bay State Savings Bank's roots extend back to 1895, when 114 spirited citizens of Worcester gathered together and pledged a total of $7,660 to establish a new savings bank in the city. They made good on that pledge, and on May 16, 1895, Bay State Savings opened its doors for business on Main St. in Worcester. Our Vision Bay State Savings Bank strives to be the strongest, and most successful, independent community bank in our marketplace. As a local, mutually owned savings bank, we work to earn the trust and respect of our customers, the marketplace and our employees. We are known for our total commitment to our Mutual Values, which enables the Bank to remain strongly capitalized and to operate safely and profitably in our mutual form. Our Mission To Be the Community Bank of Choice. Thank you for visiting the official Bay State Savings Bank LinkedIn page. Pitts, joined an esteemed panel at the Financial Equity Summit, hosted by the Partnership for Financial Equity at Redemption Rock Brewing Co. right here in Worcester. Seth engaged in a dynamic discussion on the successes and challenges our city faces as New England’s second-largest city, alongside Bay State Corporator, Dani Babineau, CEO and Co-founder of Redemption Rock, and Yvette Dyson, Executive Director of Worcester Common Ground. Teamwork makes the dream work! 🌟 This morning, our Bay State Savings Bank team had the opportunity to give back by volunteering at the YMCA of Central Massachusetts' Camp Greendale on Indian Lake as part of the United Way of Central Massachusetts' Annual Day of Caring! We joined forces with teams from Imperial Distributors and the City of Worcester to help break down the camp that served 300 campers every day this summer, assisting with everything from storing boats to dismantling tents and shade structures. Together, we all make a difference in our community! 💪🏽💙 #CommittedtoCommunity #BeBayState
