🎓 Celebrating Achievement at Moraine Park Technical College Graduation at KMCI 🎓 On October 4th, we honored 36 graduates for their hard work and dedication across several disciplines, including: HSED CNC Welding Mechanical Design Masonry Cabinet Making Custodial Skills Our Reentry Coordinator, Maria Rodriguez, chose Cody Ryan, a graduate of the Windows to Work program and a powerful example of transformation to speak to the graduates. Cody courageously shared his personal story—his struggles, his time incarcerated, and the motivation that drove him to change. Since his release, Cody has achieved remarkable success and attributed much of it to the Windows to Work program. His message to the individuals in our care: Keep moving forward—no matter the obstacles, success is within reach with perseverance and support. Congratulations to all the graduates! The Bay Area Workforce Development Board (Bay Area WDB) is one of Wisconsin’s eleven regional Boards established by the Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA) to address economic workforce needs in Brown, Door, Florence, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano and Sheboygan counties. WIOA is designed to strengthen and improve our workforce and help get people – including those with significant barriers to employment – into high-quality careers and help employers hire and retain skilled workers. Whether an individual is a student seeking career and education funding and support, an adult looking to up-skill or change career paths, or someone under or unhappily employed and looking to improve their circumstances, Bay Area WDB can and will assist you.
