Introducing Cristian LaCapra, CPWA®, BBBS Miami Board Member! 👏 What do you love most about Miami? “Miami is a city like no other. I love the diversity, the vibrant culture, the lifestyle, and the sense of community that permeates every corner. From the beautiful beaches to the dynamic arts, food, and sports scenes, there’s always something happening. It’s a place that celebrates different backgrounds and stories, creating a unique tapestry of experiences. But what I love most about our city is the people – Miami embodies resilience, and that energy is inspiring.” Can you share something about yourself that would surprise most people? “Many people don’t know that my career started in New York, right around the time of 9/11. Experiencing those events firsthand prompted me to reassess what truly matters in life. This reflection ultimately led me back to Miami, and it amplified my commitment to community involvement and giving back.” What’s been the most rewarding part of serving on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami board? “The most rewarding part of serving on the board of BBBSM has been seeing firsthand the transformative impact that mentorship can have on young people. Knowing that our efforts help guide and inspire the next generation is incredibly fulfilling. Another rewarding aspect has been the camaraderie with other business leaders and volunteers, who are all pulling together for a shared cause. It’s inspiring to see how we can collectively make a difference by supporting youth, mentoring the next generation, and contributing to a brighter future for Miami and the Florida Keys. Working alongside such dedicated individuals to make our community better and better is both humbling and rewarding.” Tune into Cristian's recent feature on The Game Of Life Podcast: https://lnkd.in/eNAktcg2

Here in Miami, the Home of the Whopper, we recognize the importance of giving back to the place we call home. By collaborating with community partners who share our passion for education, we can extend our reach and support students who need it the most. Over the last few months, the Foundation and Burger King Company Restaurants teamed up to donate hundreds of meals to various organizations across our community. Together, we're making a difference, one meal at a time.
