In celebration of #InternationalDayoftheGirl, we are proud to announce the second cohort of our #GameChangers initiative! This powerful collective of women leaders across sports, entertainment, and business, and more, embody the shared belief that "if you can see it, you can be it". According to recent CDC data, 3 in 5 teen girls in the U.S. are facing mental health challenges, which can have lasting implications for their career readiness and overall social and academic success. Research shows that positive mentoring relationships can significantly enhance self-esteem and confidence among girls, as they navigate the pressures of adolescence and beyond. Together, in collaboration with this dynamic coalition of women Game Changers, we will amplify the power of positive mentorship across industries and communities, to create access and opportunities for young women who need it the most. Big Chris has been mentoring Little James for several years, providing the support and guidance James needed after losing his father at a young age. Their friendship has only grown stronger over time. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Brazos Valley: Big Sister Katherine and Little Sister Liliana have been matched since 2017, when Liliana was just 8 years old. This year, Liliana celebrated her quinceañera with family, friends, and Katherine right by her side. Happy birthday to Liliana and congratulations on 7 years to this match! 🎉💚 #BiggerTogether #BeBig

When Little Alexus was 9, she was placed in her grandmother's care after her mother's incarceration. Through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana, she met her Big, Megan. Their bond grew through shared experiences - from costume contests to job shadowing. Big Megan supported Little Alexus through key milestones like learning to drive and preparing for school dances. A highlight was their senior year shopping trip, which Alexus called "the best day of my life." We're so proud of our Littles and the dedicated Bigs who continue to guide them. 💚 #HispanicHeritageMonth #BiggerTogether
