BBI International Hires Evan Griebel as Customer Outreach Specialist and Morgan Hungness as Graphic Design Intern BBI International would like to announce the hire of Evan Griebel as a Customer Outreach Specialist. He will be responsible for identifying prospects through telephone outreach, calling potential customers, promoting advertising and sponsorships, and recording relevant information for database updates. Griebel is currently a student at the University of North Dakota and is majoring in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Outside of his professional career, he is the president of Sigma Nu, Marketing club, and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. Griebel is originally from New Ulm, Minnesota. He enjoys golfing, hunting and spending time with his loved ones. BBI International is happy to announce the addition of Morgan Hungness to our team as a Graphic Design Intern. She will be responsible for creating event graphics, original designs, photo editing, online marketing materials, and assisting with advertisements. Hungness is a senior at the University of North Dakota and is majoring in Marketing and Management. She was a part of the Study Abroad Program and spent a semester in London, England. Hungness is a marketer for the Global Ambassador Program and a member of the National Society of Success and Leadership. Hungness is originally from Alexandria, Minnesota. Outside of her professional and academic career she enjoys crocheting and baking. BBI International Promotes Nichole D. to Vice President of Finance and HR BBI International would like to announce the promotion of Nichole Deneseus to Vice President of Finance and HR. She will be responsible for supporting the organization’s financial objectives by coordinating budget/forecast preparation, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information, and overseeing all facets of human resources management. Deneseus is originally from Newport News, Virginia and received her bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a specialization in accounting, from Christopher Newport University. She has certifications in Air Force finance and leadership, as well as being recognized as a Certified Professional Innovator from the University of Michigan. Deneseus is currently on the path to becoming a certified managerial accountant (CMA).  Beyond her professional career she is a devoted military and a loving mother of two daughters ages seven and ten. BBI International has hired two interns for the summer of 2024 within the Sales & Marketing Departments. BBI International welcomes Payton Scott as the Social Media & Marketing Intern. Payton will assist with the marketing efforts promoting the International Biomass Conference & Expo, the International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo, along with BBI International’s family of publications including Ethanol Producer Magazine, Biomass Magazine, UAS Magazine and SAF Magazine. Scott will also assist with social media marketing for all BBI International media and events, increasing reach on LinkedIn, X and Facebook. Scott, originally from Rogers, MN is a senior at the University of North Dakota this fall where she is studying marketing, and communications. She will graduate with a degree in Marketing and a minor in communications in December 2024. She is also involved in Women in Business at UND, and works at Hopeful Beginnings as a school age teacher. BBI International also welcomes Miranda Thiel as Sales Intern. She will assist the sales team with lead generation, data management, and customer service. Thiel will also assist with the execution of trade shows, including discussing opportunities with sponsors, exhibitors, attendees and speakers, and assist with influencing customers to purchase advertising and subscribe to BBI International trade publications. Thiel, from Bemidji, Minnesota will be a sophomore at the University of North Dakota in the fall, where she is majoring in Graphic Design and Marketing. She also works at the Wilkerson Dining Center at UND. 

BBI International Promotes Grace Nustad to Accounting Assistant and Marketing Analytics Coordinator BBI International would like to announce the promotion of Grace Nustad to Accounting Assistant and Marketing Analytics Coordinator. She will be responsible for supporting the accounting department by performing a variety of tasks, as well as helping execute strategic marketing initiatives and activities, cooperating with the marketing department to ensure data and reporting are up to date across all digital platforms.   Nustad joined the company in January 2024 as Social Media & Marketing Intern, where she assisted with the marketing efforts promoting the International Biomass Conference & Expo, the International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo, along with BBI International’s family of publications including Ethanol Producer Magazine, Biomass Magazine, UAS Magazine and SAF Magazine. Nustad, originally from Grand Forks, ND, recently graduated from the University of North Dakota where she studied marketing, managerial finance, and accounting. She received a degree in Business Administration in May 2024. In her time at the University of North Dakota, she was involved in Marketing Club and Beta Gamma Sigma International business honor society. BBI International would like to announce the promotion of Chloe Piekkola to Map Data and Content Coordinator. She will be responsible for maintaining and updating physical and digital map databases for all product lines, ensuring accuracy and relevancy of content, and coordinating with various editorial teams to gather and validate data and requested information.   Piekkola joined the company in 2021 as Customer Service Representative and Staff Writer. She has also supported BBI International at industry events through speaker logistics support. Piekkola is currently a student at the University of North Dakota, where she will graduate in May 2024 with a degree in Communications and a minor in Journalism. She is originally from Anoka, Minnesota. BBI International produces globally recognized events and trade magazines. BBI International would like to announce the promotion of Dana Daniels to Call Center Coordinator. She will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our call center, managing telemarketing staff, and ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction, including managing directory listings for all magazines at BBI International.   Daniels joined the company in 2021 as Customer Service Representative. She has also supported BBI International at industry events through customer service and registration support. Daniels is currently a student at Northland Community & Technical College, where she will graduate in 2025 with a degree in Accounting. She is originally from Littlefork, Minnesota.   BBI International produces globally recognized events and trade magazines. Drill, from New Richmond, Wisconsin, is a senior at the University of North Dakota, where he is majoring in Marketing with a minor in Professional Sales. He is the Director of Recruitment for Delta Tau Delta fraternity and serves as vice president of UND Men’s Club Hockey. He also volunteers with I-29 Adopt-a-Highway and The Big Event in Grand Forks, ND.
