As gambling becomes more intertwined with sports, the risks to public health grow. The rise of micro-bets and same-game parlays, with little oversight, fuels addiction. We need reforms like the SAFE Bet Act to protect those at risk and prioritize health over profit.

I’m excited to announce that my new book is finally up for sale! Not only did this one take me forever to write but the publication process is has taken MUCH longer than anticipated. This is a follow-up to Weed Inc which was published in 2017, lots have changed since then. My goal in writing this was to get something digestible out there to help us think through this complex issue. I’m so very grateful to my dear friend Dr. LaTisha Bader for contributing a chapter called ‘women and weed’ and for encouraging me along the way. There are a couple of chapters that are intended to be able to stand alone. One to Parents and family, one to professionals working with THC addiction and one those who are using. I would also like to announce a new training course I put together with the amazing crew at TPN. It’s a multi-part class that provides CEU’s to those in need of them. Please check it out, and make sure to look through some of the other amazing courses that TPN offers, they are a good crew doing good work.
