We marked our 13th Climate Tech Meetup at the Miami-Dade Beacon Council in partnership with The Miami-Dade County Office of Resilience and special guest Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. We celebrated #EnergyEfficiencyDay by hearing from business leaders in sustainability that are involved in the Building Efficiency 305 Challenge. After hearing from featured speakers from Bean Automotive Group, Watsco Center, and Baptist Health on the results of their efficiency improvements, we discussed how to start or further advance on the sustainability journey by exploring existing County programs and sustainability incentives. Following closing remarks from Mayor Cava on the importance of public and private collaboration to address the #climatechange crisis while building stronger infrastructure that creates jobs and upward mobility, we ended with networking. Thank you to all who came to learn, share their results and connect with Miami's Climate Tech community.
