  • Great job BDC! When clients show gratitude for effort it makes the blood sweat and tears all worth it. Even in the heat of battle it’s never personal and we push hard for the good of the client and the project. We are definitely passionate about what we do and how we do it. This boutique sized urban infill luxury student housing project brought concrete, steel and wood together to create a unique and dramatic building for one of our long time clients. Rooftop pool and amenities, courtyard vibes, private basement parking on a zero lot property line busy street corner - just another day at the site for us! Work hard. Play hard. Show up. BDC.

  • “Funny how life works—sometimes you’re building more than just structures. At Beal Derkenne Construction, I didn’t just find my passion for building projects, I found another passion in self embetterment”. Every project is a lesson in resilience, teamwork, and purpose. Here, it’s not just about what we’re constructing, but who we’re becoming. Work hard. Play Hard. Purpose. BDC.

  • Move good. Look good. Look good. Feel good. Feel good. Perform good. It’s basic science 😉. It’s BDCFIT. Part of our culture at BDC is the camaraderie we build outside of the job site in our in house private gym. Stacked with weight lifting and cardio equipment along with a 4-person sauna for recovery and relaxation, there is something for everyone! A winning culture begins with a winning mindset. Love where you work!! Work hard. Play hard. Jacked and stacked. BDC.

  • The trades are the lifeblood of every project. For the project to function safely and efficiently, all parties must understand their role. At BDC, safety isn’t just a priority—it’s at the heart of every strategy and project we undertake. We believe that a safe environment is critical for the success of all our initiatives, and that’s why we continuously emphasize safety as a core value. To ensure we stay ahead of risks and as situations arise, we conduct safety stand-downs with all trades to address critical needs on our projects. These stand-downs allow us to assess, communicate, and implement key safety measures in real-time, keeping everyone safe and informed. Work hard. Play hard. Do it safely. BDC

  • How many times has this happened to you! The art of running a meeting isn’t about controlling the conversation. It’s a focus on integrating team members into the discussion and extracting pertinent information to resolve, coordinate and move forward. Everyone owns a piece of the puzzle and a good leader will challenge everyone’s engagement in a meeting. We did away with the “meeting after the meeting” concept a long time ago. Too many rely on this strategy but in reality it just festers miscommunication and making the collaboration that did transpire questionably redundant. Construction can be a tough game on a good day. Let’s be big boys and girls and speak up and be part of the conversation. Bottom lines depend on it! Work hard. Play hard. Perform. BDC.
