We're super excited to welcome Janae Larrimer to the Beaming Health team! From people who have worked closely with Janae, “The thing that stands out is her work ethic. She is persistent in making things happen and is always looking for the next challenge to tackle.” At Beaming, Janae will lead our Revenue Operations handling insurance logistics for our families and providers while ensuring they have a great experience with Beaming. Big News from Beaming Health! Our mission has always been to get kids started with care faster. We started by building a directory that makes it easier for families to find the care options that exist in their area. This has been a good start - we now have over 100K parents coming to our site each month looking for and finding care for their kids! That being said, we’ve found that there are still many kids not getting care. One of the biggest reasons: lack of access to insurance-covered care. We are excited to announce that we are now helping clinicians become in-network with insurance. While we're still sharing the pool of in-network providers in an area, we are now also helping add to it! We’ve started in the SF Bay Area helping speech therapists take UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, and a few other insurance carriers. We’re already working with 15 SLPs to take insurance for the first time and we will be continuing to partner with more SLPs and then OTs and PTs as we expand across the country!
