About us
Bearings Manufacturing Company (BMC) was established in 1934, and has been manufacturing and modifying bearings for over 70 years. Our sales staff is highly qualified and able to handle any of your bearing needs. We also have field service engineers with fifty plus years experience in bearings to assist with any on site application, problems, or technical questions you may have. BMC can handle most modification jobs your customer requires, such as: Snap Ring Grooving O.D. Beveling Wire Guide Grooves Oil Holes Locking Pin Holes Set Preloads on Precision Bearings Change Internal Clearances (Ex. C3 to C4) Manufacture Cages Flanges on Outer Races Add Taper Bores Manufacture Special Ball & Cylindrical Roller Bearings Manufacture Spacers Flush Grind & Preload Angular Contact & Radial Ball Bearings Disassemble bearings to refit with ceramic balls Inquiries for small quantities, often turned down by the major manufacturers, are always welcome at BMC.

Many organizations struggle to find suppliers for mechanical components like bearings that are no longer in production.There are over 120,000 bearing types made by manufacturers around the world. But many bearings and some slow-moving lines have been phased out because of the smaller range of bearing sizes today. One example is New Departure and Hyatt Bearings. Individually acquired by General Motors in the early 20th century, they became New Departure Hyatt Bearing Division. That division of GM ceased operations in the 1990s.
