We had an awesome time at the Life Time Inc. Half & 5k event lead by our #YoungProfessionalsBoard. They rallied to raise over #20k in support of our programming! This was also many of the kids first time running in an organized race! S/O BARBARIAN ATHLETICS, LLC for providing us with our team’s race shirts! #lifetime5k Michael Powell Hannah Weigel Blanca Montoya #community #chicago #buildinglifechampions

#BTSC Coach spotted! We are so proud to be part of the #SportForGood Chicago #Community. Thanks to their continued #support of our programming, we are together #building a better #Chicago. #Wrestling #Enrichment #BuildingLifeChampions Michael Powell Cathy Yen Hannah Weigel
The Sport for Good Chicago Coaches Retreat, held earlier this month, was an absolute blast! Hosted at Columbus Park, over 75 coaches came for a day of peer learning, celebration, and networking. Each coach participated in 3 hour-long workshops where they learned about meditation, coaching styles, healing-centered sport, and the importance of setting both social and sport goals. This retreat was planned and executed by our Youth Sport Working Group, a group of ten volunteers from sport-based youth development organizations across the city. We look forward to collaborating further with our Chicago working groups to meet the needs of our community. Our next events will be a Virtual Coaches Huddle, New Member Happy Hour, and our Sport for Good Chicago Fall Town Hall. Stay tuned! #SportForGoodCHI | #SportForGood
